San Jose to Brasilito

TRALAPA at Calle 20 and Avenida 5 in San Jose has 3
daily buses to Flamingo which stops in Brasilito.

The buses leave San Jose daily at
8 am
10:30 am
3 pm

The 280km (175 mile) bus trip takes about 6 hours.

Liberia to Brasilito

The main bus station in Liberia has buses leaving daily for Flamingo, passing through Brasilito, every 3 hours.

6:00 pm

The 80 km (50 mile) bus ride takes about 3 hours.

Bus tickets cost about $3.

Airport Shuttles

ECOTRANS has a shuttle from the Liberia airport
to Brasilito and from Brasilito to the Liberia airport.

The 1.5 hour shuttle ride costs $20 per person.

You should make your reservations a couple of
days in advance.

Brasilito to San Jose

Tralapa has 3 busses daily leaving BrasiIito for San Jose. The buses also stop at the San Jose airport.

The 280km (175 mile) bus trip takes about 6 hours.

Brasilito to Liberia

4 buses leave Brasilito daily for Liberia. They leave the bus stop in the Brasilito Plaza at

The 80 km (50 mile) bus ride takes about 3 hours.

The bus does not go to the Liberia airport but there is a bus stop at the entrance to the airport on the main road. The bus stop is about a 1 km (.75 mile) walk to the airport.

Hotel to hotel transfers

Interbus and Grayline provide hotel to hotel shuttles from many areas to and from Brasilito. They also provides a shuttle to and from the San Jose airport.

You need to make your reservations at least a few days in advance.
